Karnataka TET 2025

    Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) is conducted by the Karnataka government’s Department of School Education to recruit teachers for government and private schools in the state. The exam is held annually, and candidates who pass become eligible for teaching positions in primary (Class 1-5) and upper primary (Class 6-8) levels. The exam consists of two papers: Paper-I for lower primary teachers and Paper-II for upper primary teachers.

    The application process for Karnataka TET (KARTET) 2025 is conducted online through the official website: http://www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in. Follow these steps to apply:

    3. Enter Personal Details: Provide necessary information and generate a challan to pay the exam fee at SBM.
    4. Upload Documents: Submit scanned copies of your photograph and signature.
    5. Submit & Download: Complete the process by downloading the confirmation page.

    Karnataka TET (KARTET) 2025 Eligibility Criteria

    Age Limit:

    • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

    Educational Qualification:

    For Classes 1-5 (Paper-I):

    • 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks and appearing/passed D.El.Ed. OR
    • 10+2 with 45% marks and appearing/passed B.El.Ed.

    For Classes 6-8 (Paper-II):

    • Bachelor’s degree and appearing/passed D.El.Ed. OR
    • 10+2 with 45% marks and appearing/passed B.El.Ed. OR
    • Bachelor’s degree and appearing/passed B.Ed.

    Karnataka TET (KARTET) 2025 Exam Pattern

    • The exam consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
    • Each paper has 150 questions and is worth 150 marks.
    • No negative marking.
    • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes per paper.
