बिहार के सरकारी विद्यालय में शिक्षक बनने के लिए शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना अनिवार्य है। माध्यमिक और उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षकों की भर्ती हेतु जो शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा ली जाती है वह STET कहलाती है। STET में दो पेपर होते हैं पेपर 1 और पेपर 2 STET पेपर 1 उन लोगों के लिए है जो माध्यमिक विद्यालय में शिक्षक बनना चाहते हैं स्टेट पेपर 2 उन लोगों के लिए है जो उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय में शिक्षक बनना चाहते हैं। माध्यमिक और उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय में विषयवार शिक्षकों की नियुक्ति होती है इसीलिए विषयवार शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा लिए जाते हैं। आप अपने योग्यता के हिसाब से विषय का चयन कर सकते हैं।
APPLICATION FEE
For Single Paper :
• General / BC / EWS – Rs. 960/-
• SC / ST / PH – Rs. 760/-
For Both Paper :
• General / BC / EWS – Rs. 1,440/-
• SC / ST / PH – Rs. 1,140/-
Payment will be made through ITI College Prepaid Coupon Mode or Through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.

Educational Qualification for Bihar STET 2023
Paper 1 (Secondary) –
Candidates must have Bachelor Degree in Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed OR
Candidates must have Master Degree in Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed OR
Candidates must have Bachelor Degree / Master Degree with Minimum 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed. OR
Paper 2 (Senior Secondary) –
Candidates must have Master Degree in Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam / BA B.Ed. / B.Sc B.Ed. Passed OR
Candidates must have Master Degree with Minimum 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed. OR
